What is WE DON’T EVEN KNOW LIVE?: It's a live variety podcast show dedicated to celebrating a diverse array of friends and strangers hosted by Shonali Bhowmik and Christian Felix. Our live feed will be on https://www.facebook.com/WDEKPodcast/live/
SPECIAL NOTE: As of this moment we are either going to be on FB Live OR YouTube Live. Working on the technical aspects this very moment but our FB page will let you know either way! https://www.facebook.com/WDEKPodcast
We miss you! We are unable to host a live show this month in front of a live audience, so we decided we would come to you from our own self isolation shelters. Through the magic of the internet (https://www.facebook.com/WDEKPodcast/live/) - we’ll chat with 3 talented friends regarding how they are coping these days. We have no idea what will happen! We may cry BUT we’ll also probably laugh! Our guests include comedian Brian Bahe (NYC), comedian & actress Andrea Rosen (LA) and musician & composer Chris Maxwell (Woodstock).
Brian Bahe is a Native American standup comedian and writer originally from Phoenix, Arizona, now based in New York City. His jokes touch on his cultural experiences growing up Catholic and indigenous in Arizona, and his present day navigation of New York City, all of which is told by the guy who if you saw him at a party you would think, “he’s what the French call les anxious.” He’s been featured in Vulture. He cohosts the standup show Butt Dream on the first Saturday of the month at The Rack Shack. He also cohosts the standup show Star Fuckers: Astrology but Make It Comedy at Union Hall the third Monday of every month. He’s headlining Caroline’s On Broadway on Tuesday, June 9th.
Andrea Rosen is an American comedian and actress most notable for her work with comedy troupes Stella and Variety Shac and for her appearances in numerous television commercials. She is the creator of Take Me to Your Mother, a documentary-style comedy on the Nick Jr./NickMom cable network. She along with Lisa Delarios co-hosts the hit comedy show All That Jazz! in LA at the Skiptown Playhouse.
Chris Maxwell is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer. He has released two albums: "Arkansas Summer" and just recently his beautiful album "New Store No. 2.” Along with a solo career as an Americana singer/songwriter, Chris Maxwell is also half of the production duo Elegant Too. Hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas, Maxwell's musical career includes leading the Southern alt-pop band the Gunbunnies in the 90’s. After the group disbanded, Maxwell founded the junk-rock outfit Skeleton Key in 1994 with former Lounge Lizards bassist Erik Sanko. Currently his work with Elegant Too has included production, songwriting, and composition jobs for clients as wide-ranging as They Might Be Giants, Iggy Pop, Yoko Ono, and the television shows Inside Amy Schumer and Bob's Burgers. In 2012, they won a Clio Award for their music to the Gillette commercial "The Gentleman Shaver.”
