Fiction: Writers Studio

Lucinda Holt is the Director of The Writers Studioʼs Online Program and the managing editor of Sex, Etc., a national magazine and Web site, written by teens for teens on sexual health.  The title of the piece she’ll be reading is “The Stone’s Passing.”

Lynn Schmeidler’s fiction has appeared in Chelsea and Mid-American Review, and is forthcoming in the Southeast Review and the Georgia Review.  She teaches an online class at The Writers Studio.

Therese Eiben’s nonfiction and fiction have appeared in Publishers Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, The Alaska Quarterly Review, and on the BBC, among other venues. She is the co-editor of The Practical Writer: From Inspiration to Publication (Penguin 2004) and was formerly the editor of Poets & Writers magazine.  She’ll be reading from her short story “Richard.”

Joel Hinman recently became a father. He teaches and studies at the Writers Studio. His short fiction has appeared in Epiphany Magazine. He does pro bono community mediation at IMCR in the South Bronx. He will be reading from his short story “Pastoral Care.”
