Alina Gregorian holds an MFA from The New School. Her poems have appeared in Caketrain, Fou, Juked, Elimae, and Pax Americana. She is a recipient of the Academy of American Poets College Prize and is a contributing editor of the forthcoming ex machina.

Matt Everett holds an MFA from the New School, hails from the artist-infested city of Providence, and resides in Brooklyn. His poetry, fiction, and criticism have appeared in Barrow Street, The Café Irreal, and the Brooklyn Rail.

Cloud Chamber is a musical duo featuring pianist/singer Anne Damassa and guitarist/singer Matt Everett. Anne is classically trained, with a background in musical theater. Matt’s background is in “musique actuelle,” folk, rock, and other stuff. His music has been used for circuses, films, dance pieces, and church services.

Beth Schwartzapfel is an overworked and underpaid freelance journalist based in Brooklyn. She has written for the New York Times, the American Prospect, Ms., and Mother Jones. She studied creative writing at Brown University and the New School, and teaches composition (that’s English papers) at LaGuardia Community College. Her first book, a moving narrative located at the intersection of prison, addiction, and public health, will get written one day, she swears. Check her out at blackapple.org.

Yvonne Garrett has an MFA from the New School and is working toward a Master’s at NYU. She is a reader for Barrow Street Poetry Journal, Fiction/Poetry Editor ANAMESA, and Assoc. Fiction Editor at Black Lawrence Press. Her poetry, fiction, and non-fiction has been published in The Baltimore Review, The Raleigh Quarterly, Compass Rose, The Brooklyn Rail, Alternative Press, and Thrash Metal among others. She teaches writing at the Brooklyn Veteran’s Center, lives in the East Village and hopes to one day return to the Pacific NW where the men are tall, the air is clean and the beer is good.
