From Irvington, NJ, Chidi Asoluka is a 2005 graduate of Georgetown University and second year student at Rutgers University. During his time at Rutgers, he was chosen as a finalist for the Hurston/Wright College Writers Award. After graduation, he will begin his tenure as an English teacher at North Star Academy Charter School in Newark.

Dawn Ryan is a writer from Massachusetts. Her story, E Pluribus Unum, can he found at the online journal, The Raleigh Quarterly. Her story, The Strauss House, can be found in McSweeneyʼs issue 29.

Michael Turner is in the Rutgers-Newark MFA program for poetry.  He looks forward to the day when skinny jeans will be desperately out of fashion.

Aimee Rinehart graduated from Indiana University and she drove to Los Angeles on a magazine fellowship, then returned to Indiana to report on cops and county fairs for four whole months before fleeing to New York, where she juggles freelance assignment while attending Rutgers Newark’s MFA program.

Scott Bowman is studying fiction in the Rutgers-Newark MFA Program. His story “I am scared of the following...” can be found in the Spring 2009 edition of Quarter After Eight, while his story “Vertex” appears in the most recent edition of Slice Magazine.
