What is WE DON’T EVEN KNOW LIVE?:  It’s a live variety podcast show dedicated to celebrating a diverse array of friends and strangers hosted by Shonali Bhowmik and Christian Felix.

85 E. 4TH STREET (upstairs of the KGB Bar)

KATE WILLETT (comedian):
Kate Willett is a comedian, actress, and writer whose raunchy feminist storytelling is both smart and relatable. Her 15 minute special premiered on Netflix’s “Comedy Lineup” in August 2018.
She was recently a correspondent for the JIM JEFFERIES SHOW at Politicon 2017. She’s been featured on Viceland’s FLOPHOUSE and her appearance on Comedy Central’s THIS IS NOT HAPPENING was on Splitsider’s list of “2016’s Best Late Night Standup Sets.” In the past, she toured with Margaret Cho nationally and internationally and has featured with comedians like Kyle Kinane, Jen Kirkman, Ali Wong, Dana Gould, and Greg Behrendt.

She has appeared in the Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, High Plains, Big Sky Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest (5 years in a row), and most recently Laughing Skull. Earlier this year she was a “Comic to Watch” at the LA RIOT festival.

JAMELA ZARHA (writer):
Jamela Zarha is a comedy writer and Radiohead enthusiast based in Harlem, New York. She is the founder of High.HowAreYou? a cannabis lifestyle website for people who smoke weed the old fashioned way, on a couch in sweatpants.
You can check out her videos and articles at HighHowAreYou.com

LENNY ZENITH (musician):
Lenny Zenith’s first album under his own name What If The Sun was released in the summer of 2018. The pioneering transgender writer and rock musician has been releasing music for decades with bands like Jenifer Convertible, Tenterhooks, Minor Planets, and RZA (he had the name first, by the way). He’s worked with producers like James Murphy (pre-LCD Soundsystem!) and Wharton Tiers (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr.). He’s opened for legends including U2, Iggy Pop, The Replacements and X, to name just a few.

Perhaps Lenny’s greatest success came when he headed to New York City. There he formed Jenifer Convertible, a ‘90s noise pop outfit that worked with James Murphy on the “Car Song"/"Co-Dependency" 7” single and Elk City member Ray Ketchem on “Speedracer"/"Rewind".  After a few stops and starts, Zenith booked time at Ketchem’s new Magic Door Recording in Montclair, New Jersey where he finished What If The Sun which received wide acclaim and continues garnering respectable sales.

Of course, the music also takes influence from the entirety of Zenith’s storied life.  This is a musician coming of age late of age, embracing all aspects of his dynamic life for an effort that is wholly, fearlessly Lenny Zenith.
