Atmospheric Scientist CAMPBELL WATSON

85 E. 4TH STREET (upstairs of the KGB Bar)

Campbell Watson
Campbell Watson is an atmospheric scientist in New York City. He is currently part of an interdisciplinary team that is developing an experimental modeling platform at Lake George, NY that is part of an effort to create a global example of sustained protection of freshwater ecosystems. He studied atmospheric science in Australia at The University of Melbourne and moved to the US in 2012 for a post-doc at Yale University. He once wrote an article for Vice: Motherboard about surfing an artificial wave in the heart of Texas, performed a series of multimedia shows using weather data, and made a film with his partner that reckons with being human in the Holocene Extinction.

Rufat Agayev
Rufat Agayev wasn’t always a comedian, he started rapping in Florida, and after performing with some of hip hop’s biggest names during college he moved to New York City. After releasing two independent group projects, his hairline had receded, Rufat realized he had the skill to be a rap star but not the hairline. He heard you can do these things called Open Mics, and he hasn’t look back since, well he did take a month off to play NBA 2k16 because his jokes weren’t that good. Now his jokes are pretty good, how does he know? because people ask him to perform at places all around New York City, clubs, bars, coffee shops. This guy is a comedian now.  He may have found his life’s purpose or doing something he really enjoys.

Deah Harriott
A classically trained musician and pianist from the age of three, Deah was later heralded as fostering an appreciation for cultural music throughout the state of Nebraska, She is an accomplished vocalist, song writer, arranger and producer (all genres), and also a licensed minister of the gospel. Currently a proud resident of New York, NY, Deah is the minister of worship & fine arts at the historic Bethany Baptist Church of Brooklyn and is the MD (music director) at Marble Collegiate Church in midtown NYC, specializing in piano/keyboards and organ (Hammond and pipe). Some of Deah’s favorite accomplishments include conducting the Tony Award winning musical “The Wiz,” and the studio project “Sacrifice,” by gospel music group Deah Harriott & Images which she wrote and produced, and is currently available online. She is also a featured artist on the inspirational project Gerald Jones Presents: Independent Spirit (released fall of 2015) which includes Deah’s inspirational single “Answer With Praise.” Deah was honored to be a starring cast member of “Marie and Rosetta,” Deah’s off-Broadway debut (fall of 2016), and a recent recipient of the outstanding music alumni award from Nebraska Wesleyan University (October, 2018). Deah is currently working on a solo project/EP, so stay tuned! Her joys in life are people, laughter, love, cooking and MUSIC, of course. She is also the proud mother of two (canines), Jackson Thomas and Mr. Bentley James
