COURTNEY FEARRINGTON (comedian):

Courtney Fearrington is a New York City Standup Comic.  As a young kid, Courtney knew he wanted to be a comedian.  It wasn’t until he was in the Marines that Courtney made a break for the stage.  He’s currently a producer of Thug Passion Presents & Somm Like it Hot: comedy show & wine tasting.  You should read Courtney’s New Yorker Daily Shouts - The Five New Yorkers You Meet On Subway Stairs.

SAMANTHA NYE (artist):

Samantha Nye is a painter and video artist currently living in Manhattan.
For the first decade of her life she was a relatively unsuccessful child model.
She learned early about performance and identity, which has directed her studio practice towards the investigation of seduction through reenactment. Her paintings, videos and installations highlight aging bodies, celebrate queer kinship, and facilitate an intergenerational dialogue about sexuality between queer women and their mothers/grandmothers. Samantha was a fellow of the 2014-2015 Queer/Art Mentorship, a 2018 Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Traveling Scholar and has exhibited with The Yossi Milo Gallery, The Wallach Gallery and The Leslie-Lohman Museum Project Space.

JEMIMA WILLIAMS (illustrator and writer):

Jemima Williams is a British illustrator and writer who worked for nearly a decade on the BAFTA Award–winning animated show Peppa Pig. She illustrated the children’s book Hibernate With Me (Simon & Schuster Kids), Andy Nyman’s The Golden Rules of Acting (Nick Hern Books), and was a frequent contributor of illustrations and writing to the online women’s magazine Standard Issue. Jemima lives in New York City with her husband Benjamin Scheuer, their daughter Elodie, and their dog Porthos.

BENJAMIN SCHEUER (songwriter, performer, playwright):

Benjamin Scheuer is an American songwriter, performer and playwright. He is the author of the children’s-book “Hibernate With Me,” based on his song of the same name. The book, illustrated by Scheuer’s wife, Jemima Williams, was published February 2019 by Simon & Schuster Kids. The song, produced by Grammy Award winner Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves) was released along with a lyric-video. (Atlantic Records) Scheuer won a Drama Desk Award for his solo show THE LION, which premiered off-Broadway in 2014, where it was called “the best new musical this year” (Huffington Post). The show toured the US and Europe, and the LA Times wrote “the vibe of casual, unrehearsed immediacy masks the narrative complexity of a novel or an opera.” Scheuer’s album “Songs from THE LION,” produced by Geoff Kraly, was released alongside four music videos, which won awards including Best Music Video at the 2014 British Animation Awards, (at which Scheuer met Jemima Williams!) Scheuer and Williams live in New York City with their daughter and their labradoodle.
