When he’s not touring as bassist with Bob Mould or Superchunk, Chicago musician Jason Narducy focuses on his band Split Single, instead of his family and children. Split Single’s two full-length albums have received critical praise from Spin (“Infectious”) and the AV Club (“an impeccable display of detailed songcraft”). The Chicago Tribune’s Greg Kot describes Jason as “…a first-rate songwriter and band leader.” Narducy’s mom loves his music, too.

Jason is also the mastermind behind “The Sexiest Elbows In Rock” an episodic web comedy featuring Fred Armisen, Michael Shannon, Jeff Tweedy, Frank Black, and others.

Jason has played bass with Robert Pollard, (Guided By Voices), Eddie Vedder, and Robbie Fulks. He has lost countless guitar picks over the years, often under the couch and just out of reach.

*Every Red Door Sessions show is a benefit. Every benefit supports the resistance though direct donation to organizations that fight for reproductive rights and freedoms, arts/legal support for undocumented youth, and an end to climate change denial.
