“A strange, comforting, and magical show that left me tremendously moved and deliriously hopeful.” — DC Metro Theatre Arts

Following an acclaimed and sold-out run this past winter in bathtubs of actual residences in every borough of NYC, Broken Bone Bathtub returns for an ongoing run at The Red Room. Broken Bone Bathtub is an immersive theatre project conceived, performed, and directed by Siobhan O’Loughlin - in an actual bathtub.

After a serious bike accident, a young woman musters up the courage to ask for help, and shares her story, exploring themes of trauma, suffering, human generosity and connection. The audience takes on the role of Siobhan’s close friends; not only listening but sharing in their experiences, and assisting the cast-clad artist in the actual ritual of taking a bath.

Doors open at 7pm, and audience members are encouraged to come early to enjoy the beautiful space and a drink!

Produced by Jason Rost. Sponsored in part by Soap Cherie of Williamsburg. Please visit brokenbonebathtub.com or email nyc@brokenbonebathtub.com for further information.
