Paragraph Reading

December 20, 2008
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This monthly Paragraph reading series features the writing of its members. Join us for some fabulous fiction by Eve Hernandez and Heidi David. Free and open to the public.

Born and raised in the French Basque country and now residing in Manhattan, Eve Hernandez is a writer who has contributed to assorted fashion, art, and beauty publications and advertising campaigns. When Eve does not write about luxury for her corporate clients, she tries to make sense of the solitude, helplessness, and ignorance of her fictional characters. She has written short stories, plays and poems in English and French, and is at work on a novel about a New Yorker with too much imagination.

Heidi David is a writer who spent 18 years in the advertising industry as a producer for television commercials. In addition to writing a variety of short stories, Heidi is currently finishing up a novel that friends have often referred to as, “Harry Potter on mescaline for grownups.” The actual working title is Big Al’s Big Show and there’s nary a wizard to be found on any of its twisted and surreal pages.
