The Rrofihe Trophy is an annual short story prize founded by author Rick Rofihe. The award is $500, publication in Open City, and a trophy.
Caedra Scott-Flaherty is from Rochester, New York. A graduate of Brown University, she served as an AmeriCorps member in North Carolina, and is currently an MFA candidate at New York University¹s creative writing program. She teaches playwriting and visual arts to incarcerated youth, and is a dancer and choreographer.
Barbara Fillon grew up in Tennessee, earned a BA in English literature at the University of Chicago, and now lives in New York City and works as a publicist at Random House.
Both writers made their publishing debut in Open City.
