Edward Hirsch is the author of seven books of poetry, including Wild Gratitude, which won the National Book Critics Circle Award, and most recently, Special Orders. He is also the author of four books of prose, including the bestseller How to Read a Poem and Fall in Love with Poetry.
Caleb Leisure is a fiction student at NYU. He hails from Martinez, CA, birthplace of Joltin’ Joe DiMaggio and the Martini (he sh*ts you not). He is working on short fiction.
Christine Malvasi is pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at NYU. She’s from Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Tanya Rey is from the Miami area. She is the Publisher’s Assistant at One Story magazine, as well as a Pen Prison Writing Mentor and teacher of creative writing at NYU Medical Center, through the Starworks Foundation. She is currently working on a collection of stories about the Cuban immigrant experience in Miami.
Brian Trimboli has poems forthcoming in RATTLE, The Pebble Lake Review, Natural Bridge, and Puerto del Sol. He is excited to be doing his MFA at NYU, and is currently living with his grandmother on Long Island. He spends most of his time reading, drinking, and ignoring the three to five phone calls he gets a week.
