Bradley Spinelli has herded cattle, worked on Wall Street, and run away with the circus. His recent detective novel was a semifinalist for the Faulkner Competition. His play Elusive was presented by the National New Playwrights Network in Denver and given a staged reading at 13th Street Rep (NYC). His play Ifni was workshopped by Overlap Productions, and his one-act Pretty Mouth was produced at the Duplex. Spinelli was a principal actor in the well-received indy film Home (Boston Film Festival, among others), and wrote, directed and acted in the short film Kind of Blue (Dallas Video Festival). His short fiction has been published by Sparkle Street Press, and he competed in Canteen Magazine’s first flash fiction write-off. Spinelli lives in Brooklyn, without a dog.

Karissa Chen is a writer living in New Jersey.  She is currently completing her MFA at Sarah Lawrence College. Her work has previously been published in Pindeldyboz and Two Hawks Quarterly. 

Lourdes Simón is a Cuban-born multi-faceted bilingual artist. Her poetry and short stories have been featured in Linden Lane Magazine, Latino Stuff Review, and El Ateje.

Jacob Tomsky is writing a memoir about his time working in the luxury hotel business, from housekeeping to front desk, from New Orleans to New York.  The book will be an unprecedented look behind-the-curtains, detailing every aspect of the business, from the humorous to the horrific.  The memoir is slated for publication by Doubleday in 2012.  Jake is also the President and Founder of Short Story Thursdays, a weekly, email-based short story club.  Email shurtyourlazymouthandread@gmail.com to join.  He currently lives in Brooklyn.
