KGB: Trumpet Fiction

Erica Abeel is a New York-based novelist and film critic. A former dancer, she has also taught at City University. She’s the author of 5 books, and her 6th—“Wild Girls”—will be published October 26, 2016 by Texas Review Books.

Jim Jennings is a 5th generation Oklahoman.  His Chickasaw ancestors came West to the windswept plains on the Trail of Tears in the 1830’s.  Jim is a recovering trial lawyer and a veteran of many New York Writers Workshop pitch conferences.  His debut novel THE LIGHT MOST FAVORABLE was published by Tradeworks Publishing in 2012.  His next two novels, MIRADOR and BLUE WILD INDIGO, are nearing completion.

Rowan Hisayo Buchanan is the author of Harmless Like You. Her short writing has appeared in, among other places, the Guardian, Granta, Guernica and The Rumpus. She received a fellowship for the Asian American Writers Workshop and residencies from Hedgebrook, the Edna St. Vincent Millay Colony and Gladstone’s Library.
