Sacchi Green (, is a Lambda Award-winning editor and writer whose work appears in scores of books, including nine editions of Best Lesbian Erotica, and she’s edited fourteen anthologies, most of them for Cleis Press. When she got her chance in 2016 to edit The Year’s Best Lesbian Erotica, she may have been the only person in the world who realized that it was the 20th anniversary of the series, begun by Tristan Taormino in 1996. That’s how the 2016 book became Best Lesbian Erotica of the Year 20th Anniversary Edition.  Now she’s presenting Best Lesbian Erotica of the Year Volume 2, and currently reading submissions for Volume 3.

Sarah Fonseca’s essays, criticism, filthy ideas, and their overlapping iterations have appeared in publications including Autostraddle, cléo: a journal of film and feminism, Math Magazine, Posture Magazine, and Sinister Wisdom. You can find more of her at

Captain Dena Hankins ( writes aboard her boat, preferably in a quiet anchorage. Previously a sex educator, she writes erotica and romances spanning the queer alphabet. Her novels—Lysistrata Cove, Heart of the Liliko‘i, and Blue Water Dreams—are erotic romance with queer and trans leads. Her short stories are also queer, diverse, and intensely erotic.

Drunken! Careening! Writers! is a reading series based on the proposition that all readings should be by: 1) Good Writers; 2) Who read their work well; 3) Something in it makes people laugh (nervous laughter counts.) Since 2004.
